Pop Up Cafe: White Hat at the Undercroft

This month we have been extremely excited to launch our pop up café, ‘White Hat’, at Banqueting House in Whitehall. Stationed in the air-conditioned Undercroft cellar below the magnificent hall, the café has been buzzing with activity! The cafe has attracted everyone from office workers popping in to grab a quick Freekeh salad and Dalston Cola for lunch, to parents taking advantage of the kids-go-free Historic Royal Palaces offer, stopping off for teatime treats of elderflower drizzle cake and rocky road bars for the kids!


Last week we put on a very special #BreakfastForCabbies, where we handed out our delicious brunch bags and put lots of smiles on the faces of our lovely London cabbies:


With a number of late-night Friday openings scheduled, tonight we will be featuring delicious lychee and ginger bellinis: pop down and join us for a few until 8pm! If you can't join us tonight, here is the recipe for this beautifully exotic cocktail:

25ml Lychee Juice

Sparkling wine or champagne (we’ve used the delicious English sparkling wine, Nutty Brut, naturally!)

Slice of stem ginger and a spoon of syrup from the jar

Add a healthy spoonful of stem ginger syrup into the bottom of a champagne glass, add the lychee juice and top up with fizz. Garnish with a slice of the stem ginger and enjoy!
