The James Bond of London Venues: The Fleming Collection in Mayfair

The Fleming Collection in the heart of Mayfair holds the finest collection of Scottish art in private hands across two galleries. Featured are 750 oils and watercolours from 1770 to the present including a portrait of Ian Fleming (the grandson of Robert Fleming and creator of James Bond).

The art and architecture promises a stunning backdrop for any event. In November last year we catered for a smart round-table dinner at the Fleming Collection in Mayfair. The guests gathered for a Champagne reception in one gallery, the classical ambiance enhanced by a harpist, before moving into the other gallery for their meal.

Our client chose a delicious monkfish starter followed by a magnificent roast fillet of Hereford beef. To finish was all-time favourite dessert hedgerow crumble with bramble syrup and Devon cream custard, very stylishly presented in special individual porcelain dishes. We rounded this off with an additional course of speciality British cheeses placed on each table for guests to share.
