24 Jan 2013 |
Skinners' Hall, a corporate event and wedding venue in the City of London is a grade I listed building dating from the 17th century. It boasts some absolutely stunning features - paintings, tapestries, minstrel gallery, water fountain... And we have completely fallen in love with these huge chandeliers, found in almost every one of the venue's six rooms. Life is just a little bit more fun with a bit of sparkle!
You can have a drinks reception or even get married under this chandelier, located in the elegant, double height Outer Hall. The Russian glass chandelier is a gift from Empress Catherine the Great, given to the Master of the Skinners' Company who was rumoured to be one of her numerous lovers around the end of the 18th century.
This glamorous chandelier is the focal point of the Court Room, where you can host a small private function or a meeting.
