We promise this is our last Valentine’s Day related post this week! But just in case you still haven’t had enough of the theme, you can head to some of the best Valentine’s events and happenings taking place around town this weekend. We collected our favourites here:
Old Vic Tunnels, SE1 7NN Thursday – Saturday
A weekend of romantic mischief by the Secret Garden Party collective Artful Badger. Experience live bands, DJs and activities such as peacock mating competition, all in the theme of (love)birds! Fancy dress allowed and highly recommended.
Electrowerkz, EC1V 1NQ
Another one for animal lovers – Charity Save the Rhino have teamed up with The Animal Party at Electrowerkz to put up a night of wild animal fun to the soundtrack provided by Hutch Rave and Dan Massive. Ten percent of proceedings go to Save the Rhino. Fancy dress mandatory.
Vinoteca Wine Bar & Shop, W1H 5BD Thursday – Sunday
If you have a few hours to spare and discovering London’s loveliest hidden parks and courtyards in a little treasure hunt trail with your loved one sounds like the best way to spend those, take part in Hidden City’s Valentine’s game. Clues are sent as a text to your phone and the quickest pair will win tickets to a wine tasting event at Bedales Wines.
Hemingford Arms, N1 1DF Saturday
The Semi-Detached Comedy team present a new interactive concept on Saturday. Upon entering the Heartbreak Hotel located in Highbury, you will experience lunatic comedy experience, where singles can take part to dating games and couples can receive relationship counselling and therapy from a bunch of under qualified comedians.
