VENUE OF THE MONTH: The National Army Museum

WHEN HISTORY MEETS CONTEMPORARY

The National Army Museum re-opened its doors at the end of last month after a 3-year £23.7 million re-development project.

The Museum has gone through a radical transformation to maximise engagement with the collection and to create more accessible, welcoming and flexible environment.

The new modern and bright building features more than 2,500 objects in 5 interactive galleries – Soldier, Army, Battle, Society and Insight – and is aiming to showcase ideas of defence and security to general public. We have already catered for a wonderful charity dinner in the main reception area and can report that the flow for guests is excellent and the spaces work together very well. Please contact Tuuli for more information.

Unusual Event Setting

The Museum, based in the heart of Chelsea, offers five state-of-the-art gallery spaces laid over 4 floors and a welcoming cafe, suitable for conferences, receptions, private and corporate celebrations, business meetings and awards ceremonies for up to 500 people.
