On 26th September, the Party Ingredients team hosted a Masterclass in Sustainable Entertaining in partnership with Urban Food Fortnight.

The aim of the class was to teach attendees how to minimise their food waste at home by creating a variety of delicacies where one or more of the ingredients used would be considered to many as 'surplus' or 'waste' - many of the canapes tried were inspired by our very own sales & operations teams! We also demonstrated how items foraged by PI staff were made into syrups & cordials, and blended with locally sourced spirits to serve delicious cocktails. Our foraging guide was sent to all guests after the class & we're looking forward to seeing the fruits of their labour very soon!

In addition to the delicious food & drinks on offer, guests networked with some of the companies that Party Ingredients works directly with to understand more about what we do daily to keep ourselves sustainable.
