Some of the very best wedding suppliers in the industry will be exhibiting at the inaugural Foodie Wedding Fair on Sunday 21st September.

Held at Skinners’ Hall, a grade I country house in the heart of the City of London, brides and grooms will meet a host of super talented suppliers who are creating luxury artisan delights that will help inspire the perfect wedding day. Just some of the edible treats exhibiting at the Foodie Wedding Fair include amazing tiered creations from Cakes by Krishanthi, fun and fruity gourmet lollies from Lickalix and confection perfection from Cloud Nine Marshmallows.

This eclectic range of exhibitors are all creative, inspiring and offer a special touch of glamour for gloriously foodie weddings. Most importantly, they are all passionate about their craft and are creating really exciting and bespoke goodies that take a wedding from good to fabulous and have all their guests talking long after the big day is over.

Cakes by Krishanthi                        Every bride wants a cake that looks as good as it tastes. Cakes by Krishanthi are breathtakingly beautiful baked edible works of art that are perfect for all types of weddings; from traditional to quirky celebrations. Offering a collection of mini meringues, macaroons, iced cookies, miniature tarts and brownies as favours or desert table treats, they also create the most stunning cakes. From elegant tiered confections to quirky miniature creations and divine floral-themed treats such as sugared dahlias, every creation is distinctive in design and delicious in taste.

Cloud Nine Marshmallows          Described in Grazia as ‘utterly delectable’, these award-winning marshmallows are the retro gourmet treat that look as luscious as they taste. Adapted from a traditional French recipe these moreish mallows are made with natural ingredients for inventive flavours such as peppermint chocolate, salted caramel peanut and Champagne and rose petal. Brides can chose from existing flavours, packaged to match their colour scheme or let Cloud Nine create bespoke marshmallows in any shape, size, colour or flavour. Perfect for fabulously fancy favours or a centrepiece for a show-stopping sweetie buffet.

Harry Brompton’s Ice Tea             Harry Brompton’s London Ice Tea is the brain child of Ian O’Donohue and is made with a blend of Kenyan tea, grain spirit and natural citrus. Ian noticed that Ice Tea is enjoyed widely around the world, but is still a growing trend in the UK. A former oil broker, Ian started experimenting with Ice Tea recipes at his kitchen table, after being inspired by the refreshing drink in his wife’s native Atlanta, Georgia. A keen mixologist, he began experimenting with different teas and flavours to create a grown up version with a British twist. Harry Brompton’s is a fantastic choice for brides wanting the classic vintage afternoon tea party theme but want to serve their tea with a bit of a kick!

Karen Woolven Floral Design     Karen Woolven is an incredibly talented florist who works with the natural beauty of flowers to create stunning floral designs. Karen will be showcasing her stunning displays that will incorporate expertly arranged edible flowers and fragrant herbs. Karens' original and unique designs reflect the individual style and character of the bride and groom using flowers to create a wonderfully personal ambience on the big day.

Kokopellis                                          Steph and her team at Kokopelli’s create luxury, artisan chocolates, handmade in London. Using traditional artisanal methods  and top quality, natural ingredients Kokopellis’ chocolate come in a range of bright flavours, such as peanut butter praline, fresh lime and raspberry and black pepper. Each chocolate is beautifully decorated with style, originality and excellence making them perfect for favours, with after-dinner coffee or as a special thank you gift.

Lickalix                                                 Fun and fruity gourmet lollies made from 50% fruit and natural ingredients – a really fun way to give wedding guests a refreshing treat! Or, strictly for adults only, try Lickalix’s Poptails, a range of frozen cocktails on a stick with flavours such as Banana Daiquiri or Strawberry Mojito. Lickalix’s latest creation are Iced Bellini flavour lollies in Strawberry and Rose and Peach Blush which go perfectly with Prosecco or Champagne - the perfect way to add some taste, colour and fun to a glass of fizz at a summer wedding reception.

Little Fancies                                     Specialising in afternoon tea parties, Little Fancies create savoury and sweet mouthfuls of pleasure including miniature bagels, cupcakes and biscuits and fondant fancies. Perfect for a vintage tea party themed wedding.

Marnie Searchwell                          Marnie creates award-winning handmade cakes and preserves using the finest ingredients, organic wherever possible. Using gluten-free ingredients Marnie makes luxury cakes such as her gorgeously damp and fragrant Pistachio and Lemon cake made with lashing of organic butter and topped with a drizzled lemon glace frosting sprinkled with nibbed pistachios.

Oh Squirrel                                        Beautiful stationary brand specialising in vintage inspired cards, hen party accessories, save the date, table settings and other bespoke wedding stationary all with a jolly, cheeky and fun edge – guests will be smiling as soon as they open their invitation!    

Sarah Elliott Photography            Sarah captures the intimate natural moments to capture the essence of a wedding day, using soft light and neutral colours to create a delicately romantic feel.  From the brides’ hair and make-up to the first dance she works discreetly to capture the best moments, offering subtle direction when needed.  

Smith and Sinclair                           Gorgeous jewel-like cocktail pastilles from talented duo Melanie Smith and Emile Bernard that look as beautiful as they taste. Each luxury jelly sweet is handcrafted using high quality spirits, fresh fruit and rich spices. These completely unique confectionary have fun, playful flavours such as a classic Whisky Sour with a grapefruit twist, or the Spring Clean, combining gin and elderflower with thyme sugar. Alcho-sweets, cocktail confectionary, adult-only pastilles, call them what you want, these deliciously unique sweets will be a talking point of any wedding!

The London Tea Company           The English Tea Party themed wedding is as popular as ever so why not choose blends from The London Tea Company, which offer the only fully fair trade certified range of teas in the UK. The London Tea Company has a delicious flavours to choose from including classics such as London Breakfast and Earl Grey to the more adventurous Peach and Rhubarb and White Tea Pear Tatin.
