St Stephens Walbrook
Entertain in this Exquisite Piece of Wren Architecture
St Stephen, Walbrook is a small church in the City of London built by Sir Christopher Wren in 1672-80 and located in Walbrook, next to the Mansion House.
This Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece, immaculately restored after the London Blitz has a 63 feet high dome based on Wren's original design for St Paul's, and this is centred over a square of twelve columns. This all contributes to create what many consider to be one of Wren's finest church interiors. It also features a central altar by Henry Moore and is the birthplace of The Samaritans. The church offers a dramatic, architecturally significant space suitable for dinners or receptions.
