Banqueting House
Whitehall, London SW1A 2ER
Specially created for entertaining in 1622, the Banqueting House astounded London society, and it still has the power to dazzle and impress today. Designed by Inigo Jones for James I, the building was built in the Palladian style and is one of England’s earliest classical buildings. Let your guests walk in the footsteps of Kings as they enjoy an event under the magnificent ceiling painted by Peter Paul Rubens. With its glittering chandeliers and souring pillars, it is an ideal setting for large receptions, weddings and awards ceremonies.
