The Old Court Room was restored in 2012 under the direction of English Heritage – colour choices referenced the original architectural period of the interior. The centrepiece is the mahogany East India table from the 18th century, a parting gift to the Skinners’ Company, nowadays still used for dinners and meetings.
The Old Court Room, with an integral sprung dance floor, is a popular choice for summer balls, after dinner parties and is widely used by wedding couples for their first dance.

Skinners' Hall
Roof Terrace
With this distinctive outside space, the Roof Terrace at Skinners’ Hall offers unrivalled potential for seasonal alfresco entertaining. The Italianate terrace is an extraordinary luxury and a hidden oasis in the heart of the City.
It is accessed via a chamfered square brick pavilion with a glazed octagonal lantern roof, or via the large Venetian windows of the gallery. Sculptures, olive trees and a circular central fountain make it the perfect place for summer entertaining, wood-fired BBQ buffets with cookery displays and wedding receptions. The Roof Garden can be decorated to match your style, with gazebos, music and additional services arranged upon request.
Please note that the Roof Terrace is included in Skinners’ Hall hire and cannot be hired separately.
