Our Story
In 1975, we began catering for society debutantes’ balls and private house parties. At that time, locally-sourced cordon bleu cookery was a huge draw and our reputation for treating customers like royalty soon led to – well, to working with royalty – in the Royal Palaces of St James, Windsor, and Hampton Court, as well as Livery Halls in the City of London.
In 1994, the City Corporation appointed Party Ingredients to undertake the mighty and historic Lord Mayor’s Banquet. The following year was the 50th anniversary of VE Day, with a banquet like no other held in Guildhall and hosted by Her Majesty the Queen. 52 heads of state and representatives from virtually every country in the world were present, with 1,002 diners in the enfilade of Guildhall suites and rooms.
This established our credentials in the City of London, where we’ve been catering for state occasions and Lord Mayor banquets ever since – including the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday celebration, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Alongside royal and City work, we’ve continued to provide bespoke catering for our many loyal private and corporate clients. Weddings, anniversaries, and business hospitality take place in a wide variety of venues and locations including Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, the Tower of London, Banqueting House, Whitehall, and private residences.
We’ve been there, seen it and catered for it. And still we treat each customer like our first.
