Housed in a Grade II listed, Georgian-style building, the Foundling Museum was formerly the headquarters of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity and one of the country’s most progressive philanthropic institutions.

Today the building is home to the Museum which tells the story of the Hospital and houses a wealth of artistic treasures. Magnificent paintings from some of the most celebrated eighteenth-century artists are displayed alongside exquisite examples of sculpture, ceramics, furniture and decorative art.
