In conversation with Tim Cramp, Director of Party Ingredients

With time comes experience and we’re confident that Party Ingredients has learned some important lessons over the years. Tim encourages hosts to take advantage of their surroundings and “choose something that works in those surroundings and is classic and elegant. Think Great Gatsby rather than a Hawaiian Luau!” Most of the historic venues have experts who can give a light-hearted history tour of the building and Tim suggests “why not offer this as an option to guests during the drinks reception so that they discover the hidden secrets” – who doesn’t love a fun fact to bring home at the end of the night.

Of course, we also wanted to hear stories of any unusual requests that Tim and the team have been challenged too. “One of my favourites was when a major city law firm asked us to curate a food stalls menu for 800 guests showcasing food from the five areas of the world where they had offices. These included Asia, South America, North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. It gave us great licence to be really creative with food and drink options and made for a great party” – it seems the sky really is the limit!”

Leave the organising up to the professionals and sit back to enjoy a night with your colleagues, friends and loved ones – knowing that your evening is in the best possible hands with Party Ingredients. But don’t hang about, time to start planning!
