With a global pandemic at our door, Party Ingredients are following the current UK government advice that public gatherings are ill-advised at this time, and honouring clients wishing to postpone their event until Autumn 2020. We are accepting new enquiries and recommend that these are from September 2020 onwards.
If you feel that your event is suitable to be held before September, and where your venue allows, we are still open should you wish to discuss your event with us, albeit with reduced office hours so please allow longer than our standard 24 working hour response time.
We will also be reducing our social & blog activity as we feel reviewing our past success doesn’t feel in line with the uncertainty we and our industry colleagues face over the next few months. During this time we will be sharing tips and recipes to support social distancing, self-isolation and to keep you mentally and physically well.
The New City of London Cookbook is the unique story of City dining as told through recipes, menus, traditions and anecdotes by prominent City chef Peter Gladwin. The cookbook takes readers on a culinary journey spanning five decades of cooking in, and for, the City of London, from Lord Mayor’s Banquet dishes to the titular Treacle Toffee, all available to create within your own home.
The cookbook offers a rare and entertaining view behind “the green baize door”, divulging the secrets of great kitchens and banquets in the Square Mile. Throughout the book, Peter & a variety of contributors provide a guide to the development of tastes, menu planning, and food & wine pairing to create the perfect banquet from a unique collection of delicious dishes.
